Saddle Rental Program

Ride a properly fitting, high-end saddle — without the pressure of a full purchase.

SaddleFit Canada offers a Canada-wide saddle rental and rent-to-own program using a curated selection of demo and premium used saddles. Whether you’re testing fit, riding a changing horse, or working toward ownership, this program gives you a flexible, low-risk way to ride the right saddle now.

How It Works

  1. Fill out the Saddle Rental Application
  2. Choose a saddle from our available rental inventory
  3. Select your monthly rental rate based on 2 options (Standard rental or Rent-to-Own)
  4. Sign the Rental Saddle Agreement & pay the deposit.
  5. We ship the saddle to you
  6. Ride it, train in it, compete in it
  7. Apply part of your rental toward ownership — or return it with 30 days’ notice

Pricing

Rental pricing starts at $125 per month
(excluding tax, shipping, and fees)

Pricing varies based on:

  • Brand and retail value

  • Whether you are a preferred SaddleFit Canada Client or a self-directed renter

  • Rental vs rent-to-own option

What Saddles Are Available?

Our rental inventory includes:

  • Select new demo saddles

  • Carefully vetted premium used saddles

Inventory changes frequently and is limited, so availability is first-come, first-served. 

Rental Options

You can rent in one of two ways:

SFC Clients (Fit-Verified)

If you’ve had a SaddleFit Canada fitting or are willing to get one prior you start to rent a saddle, you receive:

  • Lower monthly pricing

  • Lower deposits

  • Professional fit guidance

  • Priority access to inventory

Self-Directed Renters

If you know your size and model, you may rent without a fitting.
You select your own saddle and accept full responsibility for fit.

This option has:

  • Higher monthly pricing

  • Higher deposits

  • No returns due to fit

What’s Included

✔ Monthly rental

✔ Saddle reserved in your name (rent-to-own)

✔ Option to apply rental toward purchase

You cover:

  • Shipping to and from SaddleFit Canada

  • Tack Insurance (highly recommend)

  • Regular leather care

  • Reflocking every 6 months (by SFC or an approved SFC fitter)
